This country was founded by people who appreciated the Bible. Pastor Thomas Hooker in 1639 finished a monumental task of digging to learn what the Bible had to say about good governance and with it created the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut - the first Constitution in America for the state of Connecticut. Along with other documents Magna Carta, Mayflower Compact, State Charters, English Bill of Rights, Hooker's work influenced the Continental Congress. The Bible's principals for good governance is imbedded in it's fiber. It's highly appropriate to remember this for our 250th birthday of our nation.
Jesus's prayer just before he died was that his disciples would be one just as He was one with the Father. Might we team across denominations in unity in support of the Bible to lift up the Word of God?
The float depicted here is stripped down, but easy for you to dress up and add your own variations with a Red White and Blue Bible themed float. OR create your own design. There are templates for lettering to go on whiteboard, cardboard covered with white paper, or white paint. These are downloadable and designed to fit the common farm trailer - 6.5' x 12' - depicted here. All you need to do is print them out, paint them, and securely fasten them to your white boards. You might want to spray on some glue adhesive and cover with Saran Wrap or other very clear plastic, to make it weather resistant.
The three lawn chairs are really 6 chairs back to back for some colorfully attired or Biblically attired perhaps elderly or perhaps some youngsters - people who can sit a chair and ride the parade route and also help keep some walkers supplied with handbills, coloring supplies, perhaps water bottles, and candy or fresh veggies snacks. They should also have black painted 18x12" cardboard with the Holy Bible printed on them to hold up and wave.
You might want to have some patriotic, hymns, and children's songs coming from a sound system or boom box or booming loudly from the driver of the vehicle pulling the trailer.

It is highly recommended that someone(s) create an additional insert giving information about all Vacation Bible Schools, AWANA, Backyard Clubs, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the like included for the region that draws people to your parade route - all the neighboring towns... draw the kids to have fun and learn more. There is also a way to find this on the web - use ChatGPT.com and ask which churches in your vicinity have VBS, Sunday school, Awana, or FCA groups.
It is also highly recommended that there be plenty of prayer for your community's efforts. It would be awesome to see Jesus' John 17 prayer being answered with Catholics, Protestants and Assembly of God... all who lift up the name of Jesus. If Jesus/the Word is lifted up - God will draw all men to Him.
