We live in turbulent times. Historically people turned to the Bible for hope, comfort, wisdom and guidance. Would you be willing to help post this message in your church, on your community bulletin boards, and maybe even to Front Porch Forum. Pass it out as a handbill - on public transport, at a State Park, at an event, at a ballgame. Best used at a time when they are in a casual, waiting, or no particular agenda mode. Download and print these files on your computer. Use them as you see fit - spread HIS HOPE, HIS TESTIMONIES , HIS PRESENCE. Note: They are in alphabetical order to help you find what you want to download. 
The Hope Project has a video overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. It can be watched in 5 min. segments or all at once in a family friendly 90 min. showing. There is a deep self-paced Bible study guides-enough for a full year.

Would you help build a Float for the Bible for your Fourth of July parade?
A Fourth of July Float with lots of people in colorful costumed people - Disney, Bible, Kids Cartoon Characters, Fourth of July Red White and Blue all mixed together passing out an assortment of these handbills is not hard if you have a group that will dress up. Have a 4-6 dressed in comfortable attire on lawn chairs holding a large cardboard labelled BIBLE on the float with more handbills, scripture candies, coloring pages... ready to keep the walkers supplied (water bottles, too.)
Many Vermont farms have these trailers and the lettering printed out from below on white poster boards will help prepare with signs - add your own Red White & Blue decorum. |
The files to download lettering for the float are found below - for the Fourth of July or other occasions.
You will need 2 copies of "Have You Looked Into the Holy Bible?" 2 Copies of "Hope Will Set You Free." 4 copies of "Truth Will Set You Free." and 6 copies of the Holy Bible for people sitting on lawn chairs riding the float to hold up and wave. You will want 15-30 walkers from various churches of the area dressed in colorful costume or uniforms to pass out handbills.
You could have additional people linger midst the crowd and share the Guidepost for Turbulent Times and when the parade is done others could share as well. Be sure to reach out to the children with invites to VBS, to watch Hope Club stories, and with Bible coloring pages, too. Remember - most Vermont children have never been exposed to the Bible - AT ALL.
