The miracle of multiplying the food has happened on other occasions, too. People in El Paso, TX, were growing food to take those living in Juarez, Mexico and living off whatever they could salvage in the dump. At Thanksgiving the folks in El Paso decided to take some bologna and cheese sandwiches to those at the dump. The food kept multiplying. (From Guideposts in the 80's.)
In this clip, starting at 6 min. Pastor Paul Nichols describes how they didn't have enough when they were sold moldy meat to fed the 200 that came to a community dinner. They prayed and did their best with the other box. Amazingly they saw the sausages multiplying in the box and the crowd was fed. In South America a missionary was asked to bring healing to a dying chief. If God did not heal, He would likely have been killed. They didn't like him bringing a new god to their region. Though none of the medicine he injected into the chief was absorbed by his very gaunt body, God did heal the chief. As promised the chief gathered all the men to their kiva to give thanks to God and listen to what the missionary had to say. God multiplied the food in the kiva that day, too. High Adventure in Colombia People in Ukraine have reported God intervening, too - multiplying food and protecting them against overwhelming odds. Stories of Jesus healing are not limited to Bible stories. Places like Healing Prayer Rooms has a 100 year history that began with John G. Lake having prayed in Spokane, Washington, and cleared the hospital of patients. No one left there that hadn't been healed. There are not 1000's of places that continue in their healing prayer traditions. To find one near you - click here.
Or just begin talking to God about the needs. He cares. That's why Jesus went to the cross to pay for your needs. The Bible says this in Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. This is a fitting description of what Jesus did going to the cross for us - foretold by Isaiah the prophet about 700 years before Christ died. |

Jesus didn't stay dead. Like Lazarus, a week earlier, God's Spirit raised Him from the dead. He lives. He lives and walks the earth at times even today. Like some of the disciples who suddenly experienced Him walking and talking with them, there are a few today that have had similar experiences.
There are others who have been raised from the dead, too. If you'd like to find some of their stories go to FreeCDtracts.com Hear from very young children who knew little of heaven teaching their parents about what they experienced and knew about aborted siblings that had been hidden in silence. Hear from pastors who refused to forgive who learned about hell. |
